Places you must go to if in Tehran; éclair

When it's turquoise and brown all around, you have successfully trodden yourself over to éclair. éclair is without a doubt one of the very first confectioners in Tehran which introduced to Tehraners macaroons the way they truly should be. Best known for it's exquisite trademark macaroons, éclair also offers to the pleasure of your sweet-tooth an appealing range of other sweet treats to indulge in, these include tarte au citron, tahitian vanilla, dark chocolate, or caramel éclairs and a whole lot more. You will also have the option of perfecting your experience of sweet with a quick coffee fix; could it get any better you'd say. If you feel the need to treat yourself to a dose of happy, éclair is the place for you to go.

éclair has two shops in Tehran.

William Galison & Madeleine Peyroux; got you on my mind

This is my favorite album as of these days. There isn't a single track on it which I don't like or I'd prefer to skip. It feels great to find something that you just know you'll be listening to over and over again for a long long time.

I'm Sorry; Red House Painters

Its cold here in the city
Always seems that way
I’ve been thinking about you almost everyday
Thinking about the good times
Thinking about the bad
Thinking about how bad it feels all alone again

I’m sorry for the ways things are in China
I’m sorry things ain't what they used to be
But more than anything else
I’m sorry for myself that you’re not here with me

My friends all ask about you
I say you’re doing fine
I expect to hear from you almost any time
They all know I’m lying
I can’t sleep at night
They all know I’m dying deep down inside

I’m sorry for all the lies I told you
I’m sorry for the things I didn’t say
But more than anything else
I’m sorry for myself I can’t believe you went away
I’m sorry if I took some things for granted
I’m sorry for the chains I put on you
But more than anything else
I’m sorry for myself for living without you

Michael Galasso; Scenes

Composer, violinist and musical director Michael Galasso was born in Hammond, Louisiana in 1949, to a concert violinist father and an oboist mother. He began studying the violin at the age of 3 and had his solo debut performing Vivaldi’s Concerto in A minor with the New Orleans Philharmonic at age 11. Galasso continued his studies at Oberlin and Dartmouth Colleges. A musician of classical formation influenced by his encounter with John Cage at the age of 18, born in the land of jazz, rock and rhythm n’blues, author for theater, cinema, dance and sound installations, this violin virtuoso has been experimenting for 30 years on a melodical and rhythmical synthesis in which his affinities with Baroque music are entwined with his American heritage as well as with Iranian and central Asia traditions.

Iron & Wine; Our Endless Numbered Days

Samuel Beam's (aka Iron & Wine's) second album. Accoustic material which I would say is some real good stuff.
